The ICA is pleased to welcome Linda Pierre, Conference Manager and Andrew Bird, Director of Operations, as the newest additions to headquarters staff.
Prior to joining the ICA, Linda worked as an Independent Meeting Planner planning multi-day conferences, seminars and webinars for a variety of clients. Additionally, she was the Project Coordinator, Advanced Technological Education with the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and Program Associate with the University of Colorado at Denver.
Linda is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) through the Events Industry Council (EIC). She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
Andrew began his career at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce managing key membership services and the development of new initiatives serving a wide range of emerging business issues. Prior to joining the ICA, Andrew held leadership roles responsible for operational oversight of core programs with several organizations operating in the energy, environmental and natural resources space.
Andrew is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and holds a B.B.A. in Organization Management from Eastern Michigan University.
